Hey! So Glad You're Here.

        Hello, I would like to properly introduce myself. My name is Kamaryn Alysse  Madry but I just go by Kamaryn. I am currently enrolled as a Junior at The University Of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. There, I am pursuing a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a major in Media Productions Major and a certificate in Screenwriting. 

    

        I have lived in a few places over the years. I was born in Cincinnati but then moved to Arkansas for a few years. Eventually, we moved back to Cincinnati, and I have been calling it home ever since. I come from a big family where, while we love each other, we are also extremely competitive. That is where my love of games comes from. It didn't matter if they were card games, board games, or trivia; game night was an easy way to bond but also to compete with each other. I like to believe that these game nights are where my greatest strength comes from. Being a problem-solver and quick thinker are all skills you NEED to develop if you want to win a game but also if you want to succeed in the real world. Another strength I developed was compassion. While I know it's all fun and games when you are winning and being “big and bad.” However,  you need to realize when to use compassion and kindness and ease up on the competition. Because, at the end of the day, it is just a game. 

 

        As part of the University Honors Program, I am really looking forward to participating with students and teachers that I normally wouldn’t because they are not in my major. Furthermore, I am excited by the amazing opportunity that I will get to have by participating in UHP’s honors experiences and programs. I am excited about my chance to be in UHP and at the University of Cincinnati.
